Default Please Help- Want to buy heads!

I'm buying heads... and i dont want to get them try to put them on and realize i forgot something... SO let me know if I'm forgettin anything:

Heads (duh right):

Gaskets:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=TFS-51400904

Cylinder Head Bolts:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=ARP-154-3601

Plugs (tell me which?):
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...?part=NGK-7373
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...p?part=CPN-344
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...?part=FRM-3924
or should i just run to a local place and pick up a set? (those were just the reccomended ones on summit)

And to my understanding the stock 19lb injectors will not need to be replaced... correct?

oh and of course valve covers. Anyone know where to pick up a set of TF valve covers? or another set of valve covers that will work with these heads?

Thank you in advance!!!

Make sure you check the PTV clearence. I just got AFR 185s and I have to fly cut. I will be doing the chore this weekend. You prolly have to have hardened pushrods with those heads also.

Yup, hardened push rods, lube the head bolts. Also, thread sealer on the bottom row of head bolts.

okay thank you both... now i haven't ever done this before so...

can someone set me up with some links to the right pushrods, push rod measuring tool, stud mount rocker arms?

and can someone explain what the point of having the push rod measuring tool is and what PTV clearance checking is?

and the RTV sealant is just like a permatex gasket material right?

aren't the autolight #25 spark plugs the same ones i had listed above?

Thanks again!

Don't buy pushrods untilyou have measured what length you need. 6.70" +/- .05 is common.

You listed the Autolite 3924 which is the correct plug. The Autolite 25 is not correct for a TW head.

Ford, TFS, and the lower Crane line of rockers are all the same. Look at those.

???really 6.700 common on roller block and street performance aluminum heads??..cause I have set up valvetrain on everything from AFR'S, EDELBROCKS, CANFIELDS, FORD PERFORMANCE HEADS, TRICKFLOWS and stock heads and the longest I have ever used on roller block set ups was just recently on a set of canfields and it was 6.500 but most fall between 6.250 and 6.400..but either way like you said check with a checker first

He chose the TFS TW. That is what I was referring to. Your standard inlines will fall in the 6.25" range. The TFS TW requires a longer pushrod. If you used a stock length pushrod with a TFS TW, there was probably an issue there.
