Going inside your stock mill with a B cam and little else is rumoured to actually hurt performance. Any other mods besides the intake in your plans?

The 24lb injectors aren't necessary at this point, the 19's will be fine until you do heads. As for the cam you'll probably notice a slight pull advantage on the high end and a slight loss of bottom end grunt until the aforementioned heads (AFR 165's would fit nicely) are in place if you even plan on doing heads. It's my understanding that the stock cam works best until headwork is addressed. IMO you may as well wait on the cam until you do heads and pay once instead of twice for opening up the motor...

I doubt installing such a small cam will really hurt performance but you probably won't see a huge gain either.

Yep, if your going to open up the motor, might as well wait and get some used GT40's when you can.

ok, from reading everyones post here so far it looks like nobody has used the b-303 cam. it will make the car pull the same as stock till 4000 rpm and then you'll really feel the difference.
when I had my stock 302 with a "b" cam and 1.7 roller rockers and 3.73 gears on drag radials it would run 13.50 @103mph and with a 125 shot I got it up to 11.98@118mph.

it will be a noticeable gain and I am speaking from experience, not from what ive heard on some internet site or from my sisters friends cousins daughters dog.
