Default KEEPING A CHARGE alternator battery wiring HELP!

hey guys i been stressing with my electrical. i am wiring it all up myself. i get it started and running, idlign for as long as i want except for one thing.. When i shut her down, she ha sno juice to pump the starter gear up and start the bitch up!!!! I have an alternator with ttwo wiries coming out of it from an inserted clip, and a nut where i believe a power wire goes to the ?battery? also where do i send the other two wires, one white one red. its a summit 100 amp Alternator. i have the red wire shooting back to the battery, and the heavy gauge power wire goin to the solenoid. am i doing somethign wrong, do i have to send any heavy gauge wire to the battery?

plus i have the battery box in the back. Ill send photos o fmy rigging if anyoen needs to better understand the concept.
