O.K. I've got a stock 90 gt that will run fine (most of the time) In a lot of stop &go traffic it will stop & not start back let it sit for 10-15min & it will start up &run fine again. I've replaced the fuel pump, ICM, plugs, wires,cap,button, taken the ICM back off & had it tested but still the same problem. Surely one of you has had this problem. Any ideas would be great. If it would stay broke I could fix it, but like this it's driving me crazy.

most of the time those tfi module tests are worthless for an intermitent open circuit cause by the time you get it off the car and take it in to have it tested it has cooled down and circuit closes back up..it is best to test it while experiencing condition or just but a new one ..it could also be a bad stator in the dizzy

well it was replaced first & didn't fix it then took the new one to be tested also, the stator is it something i can repair or do i need to get anther distributor

first when the problem occurs I'd narrow it down to spark or fuel.......two things to carry when prob happens= 1. can of starting fluid.....spray it in YB and crank if it won't fire up ..most likely spark issue 2. have an inline spark checker handy and check for spark if none then you know the problem system.......the stator can be replaced but the dizzy gear and collor must be pressed out and shaft pulled out .......or simply put you could buy a reman dizzy

it only happens when I let my wife use it on a mail route... I'll run out to where she's at but by the time I get there it starts back. I'll follow her the rest of the day & it won't do it again it gets sorta frustrating.

5.0 on a mail route?? gas IMO would be killer

about 10mpg, but she says it ain't the mileage it's the seconds between the boxes
