Dont ever use stop leak. All it does is clog your heater core and radiator. Fix it the right way.

My two cents: Check the thermostat housing/hose base on the puddle in the picture, also, I just got a deal on an '89 because the guy wasn't a mech and couldn't find the leak hiding on the underside of the metal heater pipe on top of the intake on the passenger side. It rusted through and had some pin holes along the bottom. That could cause that puddle and too. I also agree, no leak sealer. Good Luck.

its probably either the timeing chain cover leaking..faulty gasket or water pump because coolent is circulated there so there is alot of pressure for it to force out...stop leak is the biggest crap ever..if your leaking it needs to be fixed right otherwise it will just continue to happen again..when i put a new thermostat in my car during a coolent change i had a problem fitting it perfectly because it was a aftermarket one and they dont fit perfectly but after a while i got it seated right and had no problems since then
