Default EFI to Carb Question

Can I use the same coil now that I am switching to carb? If so how do I wire it up?

depends on what ignition system you are using....?? if it is duraspark then no you shouldn't use a tfi coil but the duraspark cylindrical coil would be more ideal

Yeah I am using the Duraspark for now. I didn't think I would but I thought I'd ask just in case. Not exactly a cheap conversion when you add up all the little things

Yeah but up here in Canada add about 25-40 % to that. I already have the box. I just need the dizzy, coil and fuel pressure reg. to finish the job. THen I have to wire all this crap up.

I looked at Jason Fletcher's site for the wiring of the box. Didn't look to bad but it wasn't very informative.

wiring of box is simple.....red and white two prong connector = red to switched 12v and white I grounded it but some say not necessary....the 4 prong connector the three connections on that pug that closest relate to color code on dizzy connection get matched accordingly....an the solid green one on box goes to neg side of coil and to positive side of coil switched 12v

Thanks, that does sound easy.

So the green wire goes to both sides of the coil??

Can I use the pos side of starter siloniod as a switched 12V??
