PONY GUY

I was doing a water pump in a 88gt with a 5.0 and found something that blew my mind away . I went to take the bolt out on the D/S that is covered by the AC/PS bracket that doesnt hold the bracket on and found that the previous owner broke the bolt off and shuved it back on with on 3 threds on it and silocone it in place to keep it from leaking. So now I gotta do a timing cover gasket . I took the broken bolt out and saw it had a shoulder about 2 inches long and it snaped at about the third thread .

My question is depending on how much thread was left to how much thread it needed to make the bolt tight . Would there be a chance that I can put a pair of vise grips on it and try to get it out with a little heat or does it look like drilling and tap time

If you can't extract it w/ heat and and vise grips then you'll probably need to D&T

heat the snot out of the block right around the bolt, you wont hurt it.
come out like butter.
