Default Sounds like a vacuum leak w/gt40 intake

I recently bought a 93 lx wth a gt40 intake and it sounds like there is a massive vacuum leak. I've sprayed everything down with throttle body cleaner to try to trace it. I also removed all of the accessory vacuum lines as well. Is a hiss normal with a gt40 intake? The car seems to run very rich. When I rev the car up it leaves black patches on the ground from the turndowns. Any ideas?

run a koer test and see if the ecm detects a rich condition....if it is rich the o2 sensors will sense condition and ecm will interpret signal as such and set a code and a vaccum leak won't make it rich..it'll make it lean....often times in aftermarket intakes you will get a whistle sound due to rough castind and sharp edges which will cause the noise
