my neighbor has a 460 in his fox....this thing is a monster for TQ. 1/8 mile its faster than hell, quarter mile isnt as fast as you'd think. he has a 460 and i think he has, aluminum heads, single plane intake, eddy carb, 430 or 460 gears...cant rememeber, auto tranny, really tall slicks, full roll cage, no interior 3" exhaust, 12:1 compression, nitrous....i dont know much more about it really but i've riddin in it...its fast but he said its set up for 1/8 and not quarter so he says its not fast in the quarter.

460 in a fox is pretty easy to do. You can get over 550 cubes out of a stock 460 block with no clearancing needed. BTW, a car set up for 1/8th mile racing will be running a real steep gear, so it would be wound to high for 1/4 mile.

The conversion pieces are about $800

Add a 31 Spline Rear Axles

Torque Box Plates Welded In

Aftermarket Control Arms<Upper and lower

Racing Drive Shaft

Bigger Brakes and Rotors

Larger Tires

Upgraded Suspension and Chassis

Cornering problemscan be defeated by having caster/camber plates, lowering and adjustable struts, tubular K-Member and heavy duty engine mounts.

Your building a beast, and I dont know if your ready for all this torque, my buddy had one stroked out in the 500's; in the 9's ALL MOTOR 4 foot WHEELIES.

I guarantee you if you just drop this motor in, youll be very upset you didnt upgrade those parts, its heavy and FULL OF ALUMINUM TWISTINGTORQUE.

thats exactly why, my guess is hes got a C4 or something with no overdrive, and those steep *** gears, he just chokes his MPH's and therefore runs a ****ty 1/4
