Default push rod length

i just put ford motorsport hardened push rods, stock length in a short time back , this is a stock 90 mustang 5.0 motor, now i want to put a set of trick flo twisted wedge heads on. can i run the stock length push rods i just put in on the new tfs heads or do i need to just buy new push rods? please reply only if you know what you are talking about. i don't want to guess on this. thanks for your advice on this. ya'll are great. keep it up. i will run 1.70 adjustable roller rockers.

well i honestly dont know about the length, but what i do know is the TW heads arent the greatest for the price, in fact ive heard there crap

Your "probably" going to need new push rods. The best way I've found is to buy a push rod length checker and measure it yourself instead of trying to find a credible source with exactly the same combo as yours and hoping they will tell you. Sure you can guess and be a little short or a little long but your valvetrain will be happier with the correct length push rods. Good luck.

i can run the tfs-tw with 2.02 valves. wouldn't that be better?
