push rod length
i just put ford motorsport hardened push rods, stock length in a short time back , this is a stock 90 mustang 5.0 motor, now i want to put a set of trick flo twisted wedge heads on. can i run the stock length push rods i just put in on the new tfs heads or do i need to just buy new push rods? please reply only if you know what you are talking about. i don't want to guess on this. thanks for your advice on this. ya'll are great. keep it up. i will run 1.70 adjustable roller rockers.

RE: push rod length
Your "probably" going to need new push rods. The best way I've found is to buy a push rod length checker and measure it yourself instead of trying to find a credible source with exactly the same combo as yours and hoping they will tell you. Sure you can guess and be a little short or a little long but your valvetrain will be happier with the correct length push rods. Good luck.
