just look for a straight body(no cancer), 100k miles or less and clean interior should run your 3-5k. if you dont mind driving out to get a car....this 5.0 in my neighborhood is a sick deal.

Don't really want to drive very far to pick one up. I'm just looking for something to toy around in because my Explorer feels incredibly slow after driving my friend's Bullit. How's this look: http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/785182949.html

I kinda feel like it's in the same boat as the last one but I figured I'd throw it out there. I appreciate all the help guys.

Awesome. I'll have to go take a look at it then.
Do you know how much it is to have a hood painted off the top of your head? Not sure I like the white...

EDIT: apparently that thing over the engine is spelled 'hood', not 'good'...

I have a friend that owns a collision repair shop so I can probably get it done at cost and I don't care about blending. Black is black to me...

I know I'm being a pest... but what's everyone paying for insurance? I'm 19 with one violation (careless driving), but it was about 30 months ago. Progressive quoted me about 2k a year but that seems steep? Might I be better off having my parents add it to their policy (has 4 cars) and me paying my share?

careless driving is not something good to have on your record. im 21, no violationsand progressive has the cheapest insurance inmy area. each company will be different in each area. i pay 380 a year for insurance.

I'm going to chalk that quote up to being young still so I don't feel as bad about it. [sm=smiley6.gif] And I ran the quote again without the violation and as a 21 year old and it was 1200 a year. As a 21 y/o with careless driving it was 1400 a year. Just need to fast forward about 5 years to save some cash... Maybe I can find a time machine on Craigslist too
