Default Little Advice Please

Hey all, I'm looking to buy an older 5.0 with a manual trans. I found an 85 GT for 3000. The ad claims to have many performance parts added to the engine and suspension. It has some front end damage the seller claims is all cosmetic but I'm not too concernced as body panels can be replaced without a shop. Can anybody give me some advice please?

Cars.com Ad

Thanks.

because you can get a better deal for 3k....just look around.

example being there is a 88 gt hatch for sale in my area for 4500 dollar with 30k orginal miles, new paint, no accident, perfect condition....you could eat off the underside of this car its so clean. most places you see a car like that they'd want 7-8k for it. there are deals out there....you just gotta keep your eyes open and be patient.

hard to tell without a front end shot but by the looks of it ..gauranteed it's not just cosmetic!!! very least it'll need a core support and inner front fender apron work..3k = to much for it in that condition

I'll let this one go then. Anyone have any suggestions as to what to look for? I'm not a huge fan of the 1994 - 1998 body style but if a great deal came up I would jump on it.
