so guys i bought a cap and rotor kit from summit wich also came with plug wires andac delcospark plugs so after install i start it up and it had a rough idle and islacking power. so then i realise how dumb i am and didnt gap the plugs so i take them out gap them to .045 and put them in and walah it runs like a dream! but now 91 miles down the road it has a rough idle and is lacking power and smokes like a diesel truck! idk what to do i already took out all the plugs on the driver sid there fine so i am just dumbfounded ! what is the weriedest to me is that it runs fine for miles and miles and then outa nowhere it starts to fu*k up on me [:@] just need some advice thanks guys

have you tried to run a koer test and check for codes?? also check fuel pressure.. I had one that'd do that once ...ran just fine then out of nowhere..it'd run bad and blow black smoke..never wouldd of found it ..had I not had the fuel pressure gauge hooke dup when prob occured....pressure out of nowhere would spike to 90 psi then drop back to normal = bad regulator...just an idea.. not saying it's your prob

Thanks to all of u i mean it has been siting for two years andd then i turned it into a daily driver what do i expect[>:]but ya i definatly will try the fuel pressure and will check the codes again just when i did run a code check i reset the battery like 5 minutes befor on accident so ya this is kinda FUBAR! haha thanks again guys
