Default oil problem

A week or 2 ago i got some work done on my car and the mechanic did an oil change and i supplied the oil and it was a jug of it, it was the right anmount yet just recently i checked my oil and its way overfilled, I heard there is like 2 drain plugs? Im so pissed off[:@] Is it really bad for your motor to be running over filled? I am going back there tomorow.

yes, running the car over-filled is VERY bad... and yes, there are two drain plugs.

seems to me that your mechanic hasnt got a clue what hes doing... OR he might have forgotten that the 5.0 only takes 5 quarts of oil, unlike the 4.6l which takes 6

That sucks Brendan, go back and make them re do at no cost yo you. First time I did an oil change on your car I was unaware of the second plug, and thought it was weird when it was over full after a few litres of oil. I mentioned to my mechanic that I did an oil change and first thing he said was "did ya get the second plug?" lol. So I had to redo the oil change the next day.

if you supplied him with a 5 qt jug of it at most it's 3/4 of a quart overfull = not gonna hurt it in the interm..just drain some out of the front portion and there you'll have the correct amount

But if they didnt drain the back plug, he ill still have a crap load of the old oil in the engine, which is shell 10w30, or 5w30, cant remember. And I thought i read something about you putting synthetic in?
