Issues After Head and Intake install

Issues After Head and Intake install
Car won't run! for 3 weeks now i have been with out a car because of this.
This is the run down,
I put on GT-40 iron heads, bought them used, had valve job, springs, rocker arms (unsure of size) and ported... using stock pushrods wit this set up..
Trick Floow Street Heat intake, slightly used...
and in the process of installing the above i took out the dizzy to make the installation of the intake easier
Put the dizzy back in and go to start, and the car refuses to start unless i have the dizzy all the way Advanced touching the T-stat housing, and im holding the throttle open...
when it does start, if throttle is closed it will stall...when running the car is shaking and missing all over the place... throttle must be held to keep the car going, idle speed cannot be obtained it will stall
When cranking i can feel air puffing out of the throttle body...

RE: Issues After Head and Intake install
you're 1 -2 teeth off. make sure you are number one cylinder on compression stroke TDC. mark your dizzy for the number 1 spot restab and make sure the roter lines up with the line you made for the #1 spark plug. then you should be right on.
this should help + visuals to help you understand.

RE: Issues After Head and Intake install
i understand buti have followed that article step for step
and other articles
and nothing works
car will run when correctly stabbed, but throttle must be held for the car to stay running, and it typically runs around 1700 rpms
if i try to get it down to idle speeds it will stall
vac guage is saying 3-5 lbs of vac roughly
some people are saying my pushrods might be too long, or too short
or that the valves are not seated right
or my intake is cracked...
My PCV valve is not hooked up at all but i refuse to beleive that can suck so much air the car wouldn't idle or have to be advanced all the way to start. i have plugg it with my hand and a towel and no change in vac
and other articles
