replacing half a vert top frame
one of these days I am going to replace the right hand half of my convertible top frame due to a lovely crack... one that isbraced for now so Hopefully the crack wont spread, but I doubt it will due to the place it cracked...
would I be better off taking my car to a top shop and have them replace the frame?
or is it something I can tackle in my garage?

RE: replacing half a vert top frame
you're pretty mechanically inclined.. you should be able to handle it. its gonna take you longer cause you've never done it, but you'll know for next time.
and do the whole thing, btw. much easier than half.
