I installed a different instrument cluster, now the speedo isn't working correctly? My old speedo just bounced around, so I got a different instrument cluster. Now the speedo take some time before it even moves, and then it only gets up to around 40 mph. Do you think it might be installed incorrectly or another bad one. The person I bought it from said it was good. I just don't want to keep buying instrument cluster until I find one that works. Any help would be greatly appreaciated. It's a 91 5.0. Thanks!

check your cable, and check the gear on the end of the sensor in the tranny

make sure it's seated/snapped in correctly
