heh i run a C4 with 3.73's talk about rpms :| but i've had no problems with it, put a trans cooler on and that's all she wrote.

it just dont feel right in my car. 2,500 \rpm is usualy as high as i take it.might touch 3,000 if i get on it a lil bit. but even then, it just dont feel right. was wondering if anyone elses feels like that?

I agree. I doesn't feel right but that really depends on what you are used to and how much highway driving you do.

My 93 has the same gears as you. Been to redline in 5th without complaint but for daily commuting. It's way to much gear. Our 302 have enough grunt to easily propel themselves down the highway at 1500rpm and at 2500 it's just spinning for nothing.

Low gears are great for getting a bit more et but you must be aware they do cost you top speed, driveability, wear and mileage.

exactly! i dont know what it feels like in yur guys car, but, mine feels like its saying" keep going...youll be sorry" or sumtin like that. its my daily driver, my only car. so i kinda got to baby it a lil bit. plus i live in cal. everytings expensive here. parts labor and the obvious gas!!!
