Default my clutch is acting silly help please!

when I am in 5th grar, doing about 65-70, my car is revving at a happy 2,000-2,200 rpm (stock gears[]) but when I punched it this afternoon on the highway to pass a slower car, the rpm shot up to 3000 really fast and the car didnt really accelerate...

later on, I ran it through the gears on an empty dead street, and it seems like the only gear it really revs like that at 1/2-full throttle is 5th....

is my clutch beginning to slip, or is it out of adjustment (I dont have a firewall adjuster) or do I need fluid/flush in the trans? the previous owner told me it is a spec stg II... stock T-5 with a Tri-ax... the car is not hard to get into gear, shifts smoothly and normally

I did the test where you get the car to 25mph, put it in 5th and then press the gas like your accelerating on to the highway, did it twice, and both times the car accelerated like it was going backwards and the rpms didnt shoot to the sky....

that is just a matter of opinion but i do think that centerforce is a better clutch. the pedal is very light for the amount of grab you get out of them. i love mine too bad my intake manifold and rear main seal leak are destroying it early

my grandpa is gonna come over in a day or two to give me a hand adjusting it, if we can. I am pretty sure I dont have a firewall adjuster, I checked it earlier and it looks like I dont have one...

If I can flip my '86 (may have a buyer possibly) I can get a new one... most likely a Centerforce Dual Friction or another Spec stage 2

otherwise I have to drive gingerly, I usually keep my foot out of it anyway... too many cops near me
