Help! A 93 Cobra is calling.
Does anybody know where i would be able to get a good dirrection on how much the car is worth with a salvaged title. Its a 93 SVT Cobra and in exellent condition its black lowered with full suspension upgrades, all forged internals with a 100 shot of N2o. The guys is selling it to me for $6500.

those cars are worth a pretty penny...
I dont know of any sites, but make sure that the car is a real cobra, not just one with the body kit and rims...
run a vin check...

Yeah its a real svt the guy is my cousins friend and he did all the mods on it, Exept that the guy is a nissan nut and got a good deal on a 240 z or something like that and he said he was just going to park it. He said he just needs the money to dump into the nissan. I think its worth it. But it wont hurt to have some more opinions.

If itreally isin great shape it would easily be worth that at least where I am from. Do you know why it has a salvaged title? Has it been repainted and if so was it done right and is a solid color throughout? If the front was wrecked thats the only thing that would worry me but if you give it a good close look and everything looks straight then yea its worth it.

scoop it up then. for a GT or 5.0 lx, one in good shape, you'd be paying around 5 k anyway whats the mileage? what has been done to the motor, trans etc, what suspension does it have? lowering springs? panhard bar?Coilover?

Check anyway, it's hard to tell the difference betweet real and knock off. Some people go a long way with trying to pass off a GT as a Cobra. Why does it have a salvage title, what was the damage? Salvage title cars are worth about 50% of book value. But if it's just salvage from something minor and it's in good shape with low miles I would pay $6K.

just look at the 8th digit of the vin... it should be a D
and 6500, with a salvage title.... idk how i'd feel about that
