new car problem...

Default new car problem...

im looking into get a red 25th anniversary stang for $2250 (original owner) ....problem is the guy says it doesn't run after about an hour in hot weather ....he said it was the fuel pump .....is there anything else i should be looking for that would cause this?

it could be an ignition issue..when prob occurs you'll need to check for lack of spark or fuel

easiest way to do that .....fuel pressure gauge?....what should the pressure be?

carry a can of spray start..when it dies spray some in TB if it fires up then dies = fuel..if not carry an inline spark checker or used spark plug then while cranking if using old spark plug pull a wire and attach to used plug and ground it and crank engine as you do so and look for spark

if it was the ignition how does that compare in price to the fuel
