Arrow Is this supposed 2 be like this...

I have something in my engine bay. That looks 2 be blocked off.. Is it supposed 2 be blocked off!?! N what is it? I know it's supposed 2 be attached 2 my firewall.

um its not supposed to be blocked off, i dont know what it is but mines just labeled with S, and its supposed to go to the vac line on the back of the intake

Well that is your vacuum tree and someone (in a very poor fashion) blocked off one of the vacuum tubes, I can't recall right now what that specific vacuum line is supposed to go to but I'm sure someone can track that line and see where its supposed to go, could be EGR, do you have your EGR or something.

the egr is on the side of the throttle body, but thats not were it goes there is a larger vac lin that come fromthe back of the intake next to two smaller ones, its a metal line and is pionted in the direction of the drivers side, thats were it goes, reason i know is cause my car wouldnt idle cause i forgot to plug that vac line in

I only had like 5 mins 2 look it over. But I noticed something else too.. 1 of the smaller nipples is blocked off too.. N I couldn't find that metal line behind the intake.. So either its not there n someone blocked that off too.. or I just couldn't see it dew 2 me not havin' much time 2 "really" get in there n look..

yep you might want to go ahead and pull the upper intake and take a close look at all the vac lines and replace and reinsatll as nessesary

In know there's going to be one on there labeled SC for speed control...maybe the C is missing? Do you have cruise?
