Does anyone know what is the largest throtle body size for the opening on the cobra intake? I just purchased a used one and it is coming with a 65mm, I think that is a little larger than my stock one?? Is that correct? Does this sound like a good price for all of this stuff $330

Cobra upper and lower, in very nice condition
Billet fuel rails and regulator
65mm throtle body
All bolts to install

If not I am screwed, already bought it.

Stock Cobra's come with a 60mm TB. Gt is 55mm or 58mm. I can't remember. Sounds like you got a very good deal. Although I wonder how much the stock cobra intake will hold the SC back. Then again it is better than stock

65mm is a good size for a mildly built engine but I'd run a larger one with boost.

the Cobra intake will work just fine, a lot of people run it with boost and make nice numbers.

I am running a Vortech as well, but with upgraded heads and cam. I am actually running a GT-40 Intake which is very similar to the Cobra's. I do like it. It makes good low end torque. However, I feel there are many better intakes out there for SC'd cars. You could get your intake ported for a relatively cheap price. The Cobra is way better flowing than the stock 5.0 intake though. Throwing the Cobra on your car will really help out.
