Lightbulb recipie for 300 whp !! help please ...

i knw im all over the place asking a million questions .. so bare with me guys ..

goals for the car at the moment are 300whp on motor and 450+ on 150 shot ..

at the moment this car is totaly stock .. nothing what so ever done .

ill be collecting parts over the next few weeks and ill be doing everything in 1 weekend .
will also be doing a maf conversion with 24lbs inj .. and a 255lph pump
electric fan and power stering smog and ac delete .

im looking at a intake manifold .. trick flow, rpm 2 or systemax ..
wich would be best for my goals ? would prefer used but buying new is no problem .

going with a set of 1 3/4 long tubes and off road h-pipe .. cant decide on wich ones yet ..
again will buy new if i have to but used would be great ..

cam .. e303 most likely or largest i can run with stock pistons ..
intake bbk fender mount cold air ..

heads ... hmm im having some contemplation on this ..

i would really like a set of afrs .. but will prob go the cheaper route..this isnt my race car .. just the fun car to do a lil bit of street racing ..

ive been recently looking at the patriot heads .. for sumthing like 700 are they any good ?
if all else fails ill just buy a set of gt40p heads and have them milled...

hopefully this all adds up to about 300ish rwhp ..
i already have the nitrous coverd

anyone have similar set ups ? what kind of times u run and power ..

u think if shoped carfully i can reach these goals with 2k ?
used parts and new part when necessary ?

which combo of what ive tought about will make the most power ?
should i pull the trigger and buy the afr ?

my budjet for the month is about 2.5k .. of course if more is needed then it wont be a problem .. but this is my months goal and budget ,,

anyone think its possible ? or am i missing sumthing ?

first off and i wont be the only one to say but stay away from patriots

i like my trickflows, but afrs ,edelbrock are good also and u can find a good used set for like 600-800 if u shop wisely with the gt 40s 9 out of 10 times still with a good cam and intake ,boltons youll see in the 260-280 rwhp range

long tubes and h pipe will be a good setup

hhuummm rpm2 , ,trickflow ,holley are all good intakes

and cam wise there are so many but many people like the trickflow stage 1 and no problems with the stock bottom end with 1.6's , 1.7's might cause a problem

is your car a stick or auto....?

If your looking at those intakes if I were you and had to do everything all over I would seriously consider one of those top end kits by Trick Flow or Systemax from summit they will bring everything you need plus you could reuse those items for bigger improvements. By the way have you done gears? a set of gears could really make your car fun to drive depending on how hard you drive. hey, why do you want to delete the power steering if your not trying to build a race car? I am not a big fan of removing the power steering nor the AC. In past years I have bypassed the AC when not in use and I re-run the belt when hot season kicks in. Just my .02 hope this helps good luck! I am sure other guys here will leave better feedback

The heads i run are GT-40 Iron Heads, slightly ported, new valves, springs and 1.6 rocker arms on a stock cam

guy i bought them from put

311 to the wheels with these heads, Fcam, 1.6 rocker arms, and a 650 carb.

ran 12.3s all day

So GT-40 Iron heads is easier then you think to hit 300rwhp mark with

Trick Flow top end kit 360 HP/ 350 FT lbs at the crank. This will give you what you are asking for. $2499.95 is the going price. You will need injectors, pump, TB and mass air meter to go with it. Just food for thought.
