Default Vibration from 4800+ Rpms

After I swapped my trans out from the c5 to the c4 I have had this vibration that vibrates the hell out of the trans area. It has a new flywheel with the correct balance along with a new balancer(a few months old but in perfect shape). I also replaced the U joints in the driveshaft not to long before the swap. I bought the flexplate from a shop on ebay so I am guessing that is what is causing my problem. It does perfectly fine at all other rpm's. It just doesn't like the higher rpms so I shift at about 5,000 bc of it.I hear it more in the back have of the motor area to while revving it up. Another reason why I figure its the flexplate. I do need to replace the motor and tranny mounts but I never had a problem from the other flexplate/tranny combo.

And no I can't switch back to the other plate because one is a 164 tooth and one is 157 do to the bellhousing sizes.

Do you guys agree in thinking its the flexplate?

it could be, without seeing the balance weight on the back of it it's hard to guess and be right

I wish I had a pic of the flexplate. I thought something looked a little off when I got it but I wasn't sure and the sticker on the plate with the info about it said it was the 28 oz. The weight looked a little bit bigger than the weight on my old plate. Ooo well. When I move up to a 5 speed after my next tour in Iraq I will be changing it again anyway. Along with a 351 so I don't have to worry about the off balance screwin up the motor either lol. Ill run it till she blows!
