Windage tray mounting/oil pump
1. what size bolts are needed to bolt down the oil pump to the block? I have a 347 Boss block.
2. do I have the windage try set up right in this pick? like to make sure I have it going right before I remove the current bolts with the ones that came with the windage tray kit.

you need studs for the main caps to use a windage tray like that, and usually you will need to get the block align honed with the studs in it. if you just change from bolts to studs there can be distortion due to the extra clamping of the studs.

The tray cam with 4 bolts that have threaded holes inside of them. Was figureing that I would have to remove all the bolts in revers order than put them all back in the correct order than put the tray on and bolt it down to the bolts.
