Could be. I've heard other guys running this carb on a mild 302. I've got the eddy 600 on it now. I hate the look of the eddys.

Worst case scenario I'll keep the 670 for my future 351W.

hmm

take time on that 351w,. Simple to get 400HP 420 lbs of Torque with Afr 185's , Trickflow 2 and your choice of Intake. : ).

Dont know if you ever drove a tiny fox with that much power, but its INSANE AND SCARY

..............Your choice of camshaft, intake carb...................

I hate the Edelbrock carbs cause I dont know squat able them. I can adjust and tune a Holley much better. However, it sure runs alot better with the 600 Eddy.

Aode08, Yeah Im looking forward to getting the 351 dropped in. It should be evil. Especially on the juice.

the edelbrocks are easy, idle richness is controlled by the two screws on the front, and if you have a cam that pulls lower vaccum than stock you control the metering rods on the primaries via step up springs and can cure most drivibility lean hesitations on the primary circuit via a quick metering rod change and if and when jets need be changed you remove the top of the carb and can access both primary and secondary jets at once, and to control accelerator pump delivery there are three holes on the arm, the one closest to the body is for max delivery, and there you have it!!! on their website, you can download the adjustment book and it'll give you a graph and what metering rod and jet combos you need to richen it up in stages of 4 percent richer up to 8 percent richer on each circuit, but to do all this you need to buy a calibration kit for the carb from edelbrock
