I think I am going to go with this setup.

-Cobra or Edelbrock Performer upper and lower intake
-GT40 heads
-65mm TB
-75mm MAF
-24# injectors
-3.73's or 4.10's
-equal or shortie headers and all the other basic mods

I have an 1990 GT automatic. What do you guys think of this setup. What kind of HP and 1/4 times can I expect from it. Are the 24# injectors necessary? What cam do you guys think I should should use and should i change out the roller rockers? Also, how much benefit would I get boring the 302 .03 or .04 over? Will i need other stuff after boring it?

if you going to go with a cam, ya the 24ers will be nice to have. equal length are shorties, they are just one type.

with those mods youll want a cam that makes mid-top end power

are you rebuilding this engine or just doing a few up grades?..with about any can change you need a stall convertor to get the full use of the upgrade and cam change....or just install a set of 1.72 rockers to increase lift

RR will help keep friction and heat down and if you increase to 1.7 RR you will gain some lift. Also boreing out .030 will make a differnce bc you will go from a 302 to a 306 increase HP if you bore it you could also stroke it too just keep that in mind too. When you put the 24# injectors in there you need to get a AFPR with a gauge.

boring the engine 30 over might give you 10 hp using the same flat type piston..so if your just doing it for the hp it's not worth it...
