just as long as any other engine!!!^^^^^^^^^^I have a few friends with over a 100k on their D/D 347 rides, one uses his as a courier service and no oil consumption, however in racing there are no gaurantees with any motor and longevity

A 408w does not have to cost 20k...
In reality, it won't be much more than a 347, and ~ 1,500 to 2k for conversion parts (in a fox) depending on how high a quality you're working with.
There is NOTHING intrinsic to the 347 that would cause it to have shorter life than any other motor.
It boils down to how well it was put together, and how well it is maintained.
