For some reason my throttle will stick close whenever im driving the car. Doesnt matter if im cruising or giving it hell. Anytime I let my foot completely off the pedal the throttle will stay closed and I have to push harder to get it back open. When I does open it fells as if I just tromped it. I thought it was my cable so I pulled it today and shot some graphite and WD-40 down it but it didnt help.

What else could it be?

those cables are non sevicable!!!! if the cable is frayed internally and catching on the internal nylon casing , no amount of lube will fix that, so go buy a new cable and be done with it as long as throttle plate moves freely and doesn't bind

i have that same problem. I think its because the engine is pulling so much vacuum at idle. The cable is fine, and the TB is a brand new 70mm BBK version. I believe he and i may have the same issue. Any other ideas?

Well I just cleaned the TB and Ill have to drive it to see if it fixed it. If not Ill have to get a cable.
