Default Gas Gauge

My Gas Gauge doesnt work... when i turn on the switch it automatically pegs the needle... sometimes it comes down and reads but not very often... whats the problem? and how to fix?

Could be your fuel level sending unit in the tank. Mine does the same thing now. I have been putting off dropping the tank.

let the tank run out of gas then drop tank and replace sending unit

Change the sending unit as said above. Mine reads empty and with the last 2 gallons or so it starts reading to the full side lol. EFI sending units won't read correctly with a 4 eyed gauge lol.
