does it have to be out of a mustang or could i get one out of a t-bird or a lincoln or something like that, which by the way my local pull-a-part is full of them....there is even a couple of police models of continental or whatever they are but they have 5.0 motors in them....wonder if there is anything special about the computers in those things?????

I got mine out of a 91 Mustang 4 cyl. Works just fine. I don't know about the other cars. See if you can find a 4 banger foxbody and it should work.
