I have a 87 mustang gt that dies while driving i have change tp sensor i have change the coolant sensor I have distibtor cap and rotor i have change the ignition coil and starter coil new wires and plugs any sugestions?

check the mass air flow sensor and the tfi module, common problem in mustangs

I just change the distribtor out so i have to get it back in time it's out of timming now.

make sure u use a timing light.

i would replace the ignition switch

How about the fuel pump relay?
That could be another one to look at.It could get hot and fail then work again.

I am still down after installing my new distributor i have to get my buddy to set it for me .

i told you this is your problem bc my dad had the excatlly the same problem and this fixed it

i took it to a ford dealer the did a diganostic test it came back stating to do a fuel cleaning and a new stator and ign module so that why i choose to do this off of their findings but after the new distribtor i can't get it back into timming any suggestions
