Default TFS twisted wedge

Ok i need your help with what im thinking of doing
first off i have a fresh bottom end stock pistons and i have all the bolt ons you can think of and gt40 irons what im thinking of doing is buying twisted wedge heads because i want the big valves but i have stock pistons now im am considering doing the cnc porting they offer new they have the 185 and the 205 options but when you do the porting it brings the combustion chamber from 61cc to 65cc now i have original pistons so this would bring my compression down to like 9:1 my question is on a 302 is it worth porting these heads to get more flow and lowering compression or is lowering the compression going to take away from it i just dont know if on a 302 it would be beneficial or not would it run better with a little more compression but the heads be as cast
do you think the 185 is the best way to go or go ahead and do the 205?
is there such a thing as too much cylinder head for the bottom end?

185 will work fine, I would shave them to lower that CC volume and not loose on the compression side. You will also need a custom cam with the correct valve events to maximize the upgraded flow though.

Make sure you understand that shaving will decrease p-v clearance.

A 6,500+ RPM shift point would be helpful as well.

Compression helps from idle to shift point.

You could also opt for the new TFS 190cc as cast version, 61cc chamber.
