I have the same issue with mine. I unplugged the IAC and adjusted the idle air to 850 rpms. I have read in another location that someone made and orfice plate that bolts between the IAC and the throttle body that helps and you can still run your A/C and Defrost. Haven't tried it out yet.

I have heard that stuff in the v6 section. They do it to make the idle lower to make the exhaust sound deeper.

You can't fix something that is working the way it was designed to. As soon as the MPH reading from the VSS is > 6 MPH...... you'll notice that idle control strategy.
