pony up and fix it!!! it's a used care irregardless of what private owner said it doesn't matter, just take it to a shop and have them repair it, if you think that your not gonna have to dump more money into it over the long run you got another thing coming, any mustang will eventually turn into a money pit trust me!!

i dont have a problem putting some money into it from time to time ...this is my third mustang ....so i am used to that .....but you mentioned earlier that it could be a sign of a worn motor ...that bothers me .....so i'm not sure if i should put money into this car if i might return it
what do you think?

with how it just barely failed I wouldn't got that far just yet, take it in and have a shop diagnosis it quick before alot of time passes andd have a compression test done and a cylinder leakage test performed which will tell you the internal integrity of the motor

depends on what is wrong ...when we troubleshoot a car for an issue it is strickly time and charges and most problems can be found in an hour or two and rate will vary on the shop, you need to take it to someone who knows what they are doing and can monitor tailpipe emissions so once repair is made they can verify the problem is corrected or at the very least an improvement is seen
