With the headers off, I take the gaskets and headers and have em drilled open a lil more, like a fraction of a fraction.

The machine shop charges about $ 35 , but trust me, I could screw em all in, by hand no leaks, no sweat, no stripped threads.

Mass produced/ expect minor issues like this.

Piston return springs, make sure they are in right-side-up. You dont' want to fire the engine up with them in upside-down. Could throw a camshaft that way.

1st mistake....hand fit all nuts/bolts, any of them give you a problem take part off, check the threads, make sure you can loosen/tighten by hand and try again.

Then, when putting the part on, make the PITA nut/bolt your FIRST priority, not your last. That way if you need to take the part off again you don't have to loosen ALL of teh nuts/bolts........
