New Engine break in period
Long story short my bottom end was shot both Main bearings were gone as well as 3 cam bearings and I had a oil ring go bad So I got it bored to a 306 and now I have a fresh motor with around 75 miles and I've had zero problems. I was just wondering how long I should wait till I can get on it. I was thinking about 300 miles or so.. does that sound about right?
Specs:
New OEM crank and rods
molly rings
federal mogul speedpro pistons (forged)
Clevite bearings

Immediately actually. Modern ring technology uses much finer cross hatching on the cylinder walls, so ring seating periods are much quicker. You need WOT right away to generate the dynamic ring tension needed to wear in fast with the cross hatch. As far as bearings breaking in, if they're too tight they're too tight. Whether you hit it now or wait 1,000mi, if it's gonna grab it's gonna grab. Flat tappet cams do require a break-in period however, but if it's roller go run it up at WOT and then decel in gear. Do that for several miles.

Holy **** I'm in a good mood now I just went back out and got on it and it wouldn't stop pullin but I guess having 145 compression compared to 90 to 120 in every other cylinder will make anything feel fast . I probalby won't go to the track till next year though just cause I want some nittos before I go.
I'm guessin that second video was pro you were runnin?
