Default California car, what are the differences?

My 94 GT that I just picked up recently was a California car. Does anyone know what extra or different equipment it may contain? I know due to CA strict emissions standards a lot of cars have additional emmissions stuff in them if they are bound for CA. So do I have a different EEC, or any extra stuff under the hood, will this affect me once I start modifying the car?? Thanks

This is exactly how that sticker reads under the hood: "This vehicle conforms to US EPA regulations applicable to 1994 model year new motor vehicles and is certified for sale in California. OBD 1 Ceritifed."

So what does that tell you, and how does it apply to my original question?

often times it's the type of convertors used, your vehicle won't have any different smog components than one that is just federal

i bet it's the same. '88 was a diff cuz cali cars were mass air whilst the rest were still speed density

i live in detroit area, but was in fresno for 5 years (2000-2005) , i owned 3 different 5.0's there and all were the same as the detroit iron i have owned for the last 20 years

so i say don't sweat it.. just gonna be a cleaner car imo
