Even with the stock heads and intake you will notice a big difference with a new cam, as long as you get the right one.. Our stock cam is really weird, it has a lot of overlap, and the lobe seperation is 116! It would be okay for a supercharged car running low boost, but N/A it sux! A good cam with somewhere in the 225/225 490/490 with a 110 lobe seperation is a great cam for a street car, depending on your set-up of course.

I have been researching since I think I am going to get a new cam here soon as well.. I hate the powerband from the stock cam, it sux big time.

stock c am isnt all that bad. like he said good for boosted ****. advancing or retarding it makes a difference

now for gains youll see a few here and there. just like if you add an intake. youll only see a few. now in the long run youll see all the gains all together but issue is you need to match everything

The E303 cam is a very good streetcam and will pass emissions and if your port your heads ull notice a bigger difference depending on how much you port them.

Sounds like a great cam if that's what you're going for, I would go with the recommended heads with that cam, as they are made for eachother.. I am thinking about a E cam with 1.6 roller rockers and stage 3 ported Edelbrocks.

too much port will hurt also. like stated you need to match ****. one 1.6 is stock ratio for our motors. all youre doing is adding a roller to it.

to much head not enough cam or motor will hurt. to small head to large cam will hurt also

e cam with 1.7s clear stockers from what ppl say........so you should be fine.............now on other hand in this following week, we will find out if i have issues or not, with my cam and rockers. im guessing my total lift is close to .530/.539 this is also with gtp heads that been shaved some. so we will see if i have issues or not.......now thats less lift for teh exhaust then E cam with 1.7s

Cool maybe I will do that then.. I have the crane pedestal mount rockers, but I am sure the Edelbrocks I am getting will have the studs, can you somehow still use these rockers, or am I forced to buy new ones?
