New Guy needing some info plz
Good Day, i am brand new here and i must say i really enjoy what i have read already. I just purchased a 94 gt with a gt40 R long block and a ton of other goodies on it. The car sat for around 3 years but the previous owner always started it and kept the fluids moving and oil changed. Okay onto the problemo...
The car likes to over heat, i changed out the thermostat and it still wants to over heat. The bottle on the pass side of the car has a large hole in it, not sure if thats the prob and also the fan will not turn on. I put power directly to the fan and it works but in the fuse pannel on the drivers side fender i found that the fuse for the fan motor is getting no power....WEIRD HUH? well lets start ther and see if any of you cool pony people can help me out.
Thanks in advance!
Greg

go there, and look, check for power from the CCRM and ECM.
They are so like junk !
If the ecm is not ginving its share, check the Coolant Temperature Sensor and connection.
But no guys, if his fan aint working, this is the cause of his overheating, my car could be near H, turn on the fan, its back down to a lil above cool.
