Cool 4.10 Gears

I just recently bought a 92 5.0 Mustang, it has 4.10 gears, and becasue of tht the speedometer doesnt register the correct speed. How can I fix that, (I've been told its just a gear that goes onto a cable on the transmission) and does anyone know where I can by the part?

Also whats the advanatges of those gears? I'm not really looking for a race car or anything, just a car to cruise around in. Any help would be great, Thanks guys!

Go to Ford Racing and they will help you get the right gear in the speedometer to make it more accurate. The 4.10 gears make it easier for the engine to accelerate the car due to mechanical advantage.
