Things to look for
Quick question, I'm shopping for a 88-93 GT and was wondering somethings that I need to look for. For example, what places tend to rust/rot and other things that could pose a problem in the future. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Just check inside the fenders and the undercarriage for extensive rust. I'd check the oil and air filter as well. That will let you know if they have been taking care of it or not.

look for cracks in the hatch area when you open it. body being twisted ( fenders and doors dont line up). look for any front end damage and stuff like that

I'd also check out the undercarriage real good for rust, rot or leaks...check the brake & fuel lines too
