how much oil do ur fox bodys burn? i was drivin home and my check oil light came on...i never smell anything and ive been under the car and i see no leaks...

It depends on the condition of the engine. Mine has 160K on itand doesn't burn any. It has been well taken care of over the years.

mine burns about a quart every 4500 miles. i go 6000 miles between oil changes. oddly enough i just got finished changing my oil and rotating my tires a few minutes ago. the motor has about 66k miles on it. these cars do burn oil sometimes. it's normal.

800 miles per quart is within spec in my Ford Mustang Tech. Manual....

Ha, i ran a whole Fun Ford Weekend on a low oil light...hehe, my dont burn to bad and it has over 100,000 on the dial.....you should be alright,unless you got some blue smoke coming out the pipes......ewww
