Default new build opinions

Hi,
I'm new around here I'm from Australia so I hope I can get some opinions from you guys that may help me out.
I'm finishing a new build, I currently have a 5.0 motor it has been stripped down and refreshed, new bearings, oil pump, timing set etc, stud kit and windage tray. Heads are patriot performance with 1.6 roller rockers and XE 282 comp cam. Edelbrock performer RPM intake manifold and a BG 625 cfm carb, high volume edlebrock electric pump and 3/8's fuel line and a procomp HEI self contained distributors.
The drive train is a C4 with a 2500rpm high stall and 3.8 gears in the diff. I'm going to install this in a 67 mustang.

I'm looking for something that puts out around 300 hp at the wheels. It's a weekend driver only so I'm not to fussed that the cam has a choppy idle. Any general comments or thoughts on the combination .

Thanks
