Default Hood Pins

Going to order some hood pins, hood wobbles too much on the highway and down the end of the track.
Fiberglass requires them anyhoo, so going for it.

Which kind should I go for?

Guess this would be based on looks and looks alone.
Still think it's going to look odd, but i need them.

Definatly go with the first picture, i have those and they are pretty sweet. They dont look weird at all, if anything, they look pretty badas$. The only problem with the first one is if your not careful, you can possibly scratch the paint, and they dont lock, i dont have a hood latch, so its a problem with me, but if yours latchs then its no problem.

Hmm, I was under the impression you no longer required the latch system anymore.
And they don't lock?
Wouldnt you just have to make it so the plate sits lower by moving those nuts around?

by locking i mean any random idiot can come up to your car pull the pins and have a free-for-all with your stuff. I dont have the latch anymore so i know its not necessary, as far as being able to use the latch, i dont know.

Yeah, I'm hung up between the first and the last...
Don't know how it'd look with that wire hanging.

Hmm, thinking I'll just order the first ones.
If they look too awkward with the wire I can remove it or plop it back on.
But before I type in my magical information to the superstore known as SummitRacing.

Red, you have any pics of your car with your pins?

I have the last ones on my car and haven't had any problems at all.
I have to adjust then a little because the fiberglass rubs on the pins and squeeks.
Other than that they are all good.
