The patriot heads do need some work, I have mine at the machine shop right now. Exhaust flange has a place to make it not seal, valve job is horrible, combustion chamber is off, sposed to be 58cc and really 60cc. The ports are all 1/4 inch too low, had to epoxy the floor and take out some of the top of the port to make it line up wit the gasket. Im thinking this is the biggest problem cause this would restrict alot of airflow. I bought the heads new and im gonna have 500 in machine work to make them right. I couldve just bought afrs. Im going to have them flowed once they are done for comparison, ill let you know the outcome.
