lost 5th gear

lost 5th gear

today on my way home from work i was cruisin along in 5th gear when all of a sudden i lost the gear
it was like i was sittin in neutral while i had the shifter in 5th
how the heck does that happen?

something came apart on the 5th gear, you'll need to pull the tail shaft housing off the rear and see what came loose , 5th is housed in side there
