This may have been asked before, but I need to know if the rear axles of a 96 mustang gt will fit the rear axles of a 90 mustang gt. I have to opportunity to get a pair of axles for the rear that will convert my 90 gt into a 5 lug rear disc brake car. Please let me know asap. Thanks.

They will fit but they are about 1/4 of an inch longer..which means your wheels will stick out that much more...

But they will fit directly like the factory ones correct? Because the 1/4" thing I can counter that with the offset of the rims, so I am not worried about that if it's only a 1/4".

Yup they fit right in. I got 94 axels on my 93 and they slide right in. The tires do stick out some here is a pic but they are kinda dark. They are 275/40/17 on 96 cobra rims. They did rub when the car was lowered but dont now.
