Default Overheating

My car hasn't overheated yet, but it is getting hotter than normal. it gets extremely close to the red. I have replaced the thermostat, radiator, fan clutch and coolant, no difference. I'm pretty sure it's not the water pump, no weeping or noise from bearings. I recently replaced the MAP sensor with one from checker, would this cause my car to overfuel, and in turn overheat? any ideas?

Have you pressure tested the radiator cap yet? Pressure tested the replacement radiator and cap? You can "rent" the tool from About any parts store IMHO.....

I'd say that's overheating as close as you can come!!! why on earth are you still driving it at that point!!! those idiot gauges for c and h mean cold and hosed!!!!= screwed!! do you realize that you could be close to 250 if it's almost in the red.... no way to tell so never run a car past 3/4 gauge and no the map sensor won't cause it to run hot!!... when is it overheating??? in stop in go traffic??? on the highway or both???, could have a bad cap???, impeller issue on the water pump....or even head gaskets

you know its funny because mine will get to the 3/4 and slightly above and the idle problems go away and the a/c blows colder and it accelerates a tiny bit smoother
